Selling with Marylebone Auctions is a straightforward process. Our experts are here to guide you through each step with professionalism and transparency. Below is a summary of the process:
Step 1 - The Valuation
To begin, contact us to arrange a valuation of your items. We offer several options:
-
Free Online Valuations: Send information about your item(s) using our website form.
-
Free Virtual Appointment: Schedule a video call with one of our specialists using your smartphone.
-

-
Home Visits: We can arrange for a valuer to visit your home for larger collections or valuable items.
Step 2 - The Selling Process
Before the auction
Once you decide to proceed, arrange delivery of your item(s) to our saleroom. Upon delivery, you'll receive a receipt outlining our agreement, including agreed fees, estimates, reserve prices, and proposed auction dates. We won't sell your item(s) if they don't reach the reserve price.
We'll then catalogue, photograph, and research your items as needed. High-resolution images and condition reports are provided for all lots in our sales.
One month before the auction, you'll receive a pre-sale email confirming lot numbers, full catalogue descriptions, and auction details.
